ServSafe Training

ServSafe Manager Training, covering the most critical principles of food safety, is now available at Caridad Community Kitchen!

Open to all community members, the cost is $200 for one full day of training and testing with qualified chef instructors and proctors, and includes the ServSafe Manager textbook and diagnostic pre-test.

Classes run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be offered on the following days:

  • Saturday, September 17, 2016
  • Saturday, November 5, 2016
  • Saturday, January 21, 2017
  • Saturday, March 11, 2017
  • Saturday, May 20, 2017

The ServSafe program is designed to help individuals prepare for the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam. Topics covered include the importance of food safety, time and temperature control, and receiving and storing food, among many others.

The most comprehensive food, beverage, and operation training program in the industry, ServSafe is a nationally-recognized certification that is practical for all food service professionals.
