Daily, students have the opportunity to apply their new skill set to the Caridad feeding program. A program of the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, Caridad Community Kitchen prepares and serves hot meals and sack lunches to people in need. The chefs and culinary students use fresh and local donations from the Food Bank to prepare more than 14,000 nutritious meals every month.

Students take pride in knowing that they are not only improving their own lives, but the lives of people in their community as they assist in sending out up to 750 meals in one day to people who might otherwise not have anything to eat. Read more about the Caridad Feeding Program.
