Charitable Tax Credit

It’s better to give AND receive.

Give to the Community Food Bank and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Arizona state return. Want to control how your tax dollars are spent? 100% of your donation will help feed people struggling with hunger in Southern Arizona.

And... this year you don’t have to itemize your taxes to claim the credit!

This year, you can qualify for double the amount of money back! For the first time ever, you can now qualify for up to $400 if you file as a single person, or up to $800 if you file jointly.

Arizona’s charitable tax credit allows you to earn a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on contributions to qualified organizations. The State of Arizona recognizes the Community Food Bank and its branches as a Qualified Charitable Organization. All you have to do is make your gift before April 15th of the following year. That's right, for the first time you can now claim gifts to a qualified organization almost four months into the upcoming calendar year. This means that you have until April 15, 2017 to make a gift that can qualify for 2016 tax credits.

Your gift of $400 or more will make a real difference to hungry families.

Please discuss any and all charitable intentions with your tax advisor.
