About

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona provides food and food-related services throughout a 23,000 square-mile region of Southern Arizona including Pima, Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, and Santa Cruz counties. The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona distributes over 63,000 meals a day to members of our community with the support of over 300 local nonprofit agencies. Each year, we assist over 225,000 people through our programs and services.

At the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, we change lives in the communities we serve by feeding the hungry today and building a healthy, hunger-free tomorrow.

We provide distribution services from our main warehouse in Tucson and from four branch banks in Nogales, Green Valley, Amado, and Marana. We have a long history of consistent, reliable program delivery, providing Southern Arizona with a multitude of food-related programs and services including emergency food distribution, child hunger programs, home and community gardening, farmers’ markets, and SNAP (food stamp) application assistance.

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation under the guidance of a Board of Directors. In April 2013, Charity Navigator named the Community Food Bank as one of the “10 Top-Notch Charities” nationwide. Of every dollar donated, 97% goes directly to provide services to those in need.
